A+ Human

I’m messy. I’m organized. I’m lazy. I’m productive.
I’m human. I’m not a machine.
Can you relate?
Modern-day moms like me are constantly comparing ourselves. Sometimes subconsciously. Sometimes boldly. Sometimes while scrolling in our pajamas at midnight.
We even put ourselves, and each other, into categories.
Have you heard of a Type A mom? Have you wondered where you fall on that scale? Even just for fun?
I have.
I like to think of myself as a Type B+. Maybe an A- on a good day.
Categories are great for our homes. They help us function, find what we need, and create flow.
But categories fall apart when we apply them to personalities.
Putting humans in boxes is like nailing jello to a wall.
We already know we’re different. But we forget how alike we are.
We all struggle with chores. With decisions. With motivation.
We all turn molehills into mountains when we’re tired, overwhelmed, or carrying too much.
Our priorities shift. Our habits change. Our capacity fluctuates.
Aiming to be a Type A+ can be healthy if it’s about growth, not punishment.
If it’s about making changes that support our lives instead of squeezing ourselves into an image that was never meant to fit.
Being organized doesn’t mean being flawless.
Being productive doesn’t cancel out rest.
Being Type A doesn’t mean being above being human.
And being human was always the goal.
